Ephemeric Glimpse License

The work may only be viewed for five seconds at a time, so as to keep the experience at a precognitive level of visual experience, and to prevent cognitive reflection. (A true visual experience is not cognitive). The required delay between glimpses is not specified, but must be long enough for focus/consciousness to have moved on to something else.

Oh yeah, there’s also the EEL (Extreme Exposure License), which is actually frequently used by unknown artists. If you can’t remember it, here’s a recap:

“The work published under the EEL must be made known to everybody anywhere and at any time.”

Notice how most record companies and publishers shamelessly fail to recognize their obligations in relation to this fine license.

This might be one of the earliest licenses recorded in history, as it is believed that the Gospels were published under this license. At that time there was a second clause though. The exact wordings has not survived the ages, but legend has it, that it went something like this:

“Those who do not actively participate in the spreading of the work, will go to Hell.”

EPL

I’m sure you’re all very well aware of the EPL (Extreme Protective Licence). Nevertheless here it is:

“Any work published under the EPL may not be known, publicly nor privately, to anybody, anywhere at any time – ever!”

Seldom used by artist themselves (except those severely depressed), though it has had a kind of a revival since 2001 and the launch of the terror law.
